IATA's vice president said that airports, being modern and efficient they will encourage more airlines coming and will enable a greater number of operations in Paraguay.
Sepulveda explained that his visit was to internalize Alegre Minister of the approval process of the law to grant the airport which is still in Congress.
"Paraguay has a unique opportunity in its history in terms of improving its connectivity with the world and the modernization of Paraguay has to be through the airports and in that sense, the airport is efficient and modern, with low costs, is obviously going to encourage arrival of more airlines and generate a greater number of operations, passengers and airlines, and contact with other parts of the world, "said the representative of IATA.
The strike at the Dinac was postponed until April 25th. That day MOPC workers and officials will hold a meeting to unlock the dispute from the union groups that oppose the granting of airports to private companies.
